RE: honed granite Description

Hi Debra,
I don't know if they "hone" Granite (http://tanbrown.org) in their shop, but I talked with a guy today at SPENCER's TILE in downtown Memphis. I am also interested in a non-shiny surface for my Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops--- am using a shiny Granite (http://tanbrown.org) on the island (http://maplered.com) , probably.
This place is supposed to beat any price you give them on Granite (http://tanbrown.org) and (http://maplered.com) Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) , and (http://maplered.com) travertine . He is located on Walnut Street in downtown Memphis.
E-mail me at lakewood@capital2.com if you want any more information that I may have..............
I received a piece of honed Granite (http://tanbrown.org) today in the mail from The Stone Source in Jackson, MS..... I don't think they hone theirs, I guess they get it done before it arrives at their shop. I also had him FIND me a piece of soapStone (http://g603.net) . I am "playing" with it by oiling it a few times to see if I like it. It, too, has a "duller" finish than polished Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . Do you know anything about, or do you know anyone who currently uses soapStone (http://g603.net) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s ??? Am very interested...
Do you live in Memphis?
